The project involves the heavy restructuring of a Haussmannian building located at the corner of Place Vendôme and Rue Saint-Honoré. The façades and overall volume of the existing structure are preserved, while the slabs and internal framework are entirely rebuilt. New levels are created below ground (underpinning) to expand the floor area. Additionally, the roof structure is completely rebuilt while respecting the height constraints of Place Vendôme. The decorative elements of the façade and roof are preserved and supplemented.

T/E/S/S contributed to the project as the structural engineering consultant, responsible for designing the concrete, steel, and timber structural elements, as well as the suspended glass enclosure of the monumental staircase at the heart of the building. The project required excavation work from within the building using compact equipment to create the underground levels.
